Our keynote speaker was Kaitlin Roig-Debellis, survivor, author, "Choosing Hope: Moving Forward from Life's Darkest Hours" and advocate. Kaitlin is a Sandy Hook survivor and the author of "Choosing Hope: Moving Forward from Life's Darkest Hours" She is the Founder and Executive Director of Classes for Classes, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to teaching students compassion and has been awarded an Ellis Island Medal of Honor for this work. Kaitlin was named one of Glamour Magazine's Women of The Year along with Malala Yousafzai and Gabby Giffords.
